Privacy Policy
Summary: Quillfolio Calculator is a fully offline calculator app. We do not operate servers that collect your personal data, and the app does not request network, location, camera, microphone, contacts, or storage permissions. Information you enter is stored locally on your device unless you choose to export it or use Android system backup features.
1. Who We Are
This Privacy Policy describes how Quillfolio Calculator (“the App,” “we,” “us”) handles information when you use our Android application.

2. Permissions
The App is designed to work without sensitive Android permissions. The published app manifest does not declare runtime permissions such as:
- Internet or network access
- Location (fine or coarse)
- Camera or microphone
- Read or write external storage / media
- Contacts, calendar, SMS, or phone
- Notifications or vibration (as declared permissions)
Because the App does not hold an Internet permission, it cannot connect to the network on its own. Any network activity would only occur if you manually share exported data through another app you choose (see Section 7).
3. Information We Do Not Collect
We do not collect, receive, or store on our own servers:
- Name, email address, phone number, or account credentials
- Precise or approximate location
- Advertising identifiers or analytics profiles
- Payment card or banking credentials
- Health records or clinical data
- Crash reports or usage analytics sent to us
The App does not include advertising SDKs or third-party analytics SDKs.
4. Information Stored Locally on Your Device
The App stores the following data only on your device to provide its features:

This data is created by your use of the App. We do not automatically upload it to our servers.
Health and financial inputs: If you use BMI, calorie, loan, ROI, or similar tools, any numbers you type are processed locally for display and optional history storage. These tools provide estimates only and are not medical or financial advice.
5. How We Use Information
Locally stored information is used solely to:
- Perform calculations you request
- Display saved history and custom variables
- Apply your theme and settings
- Show favorites and recent tools
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or sale to third parties.
6. Android Backup and Device Transfer
The App allows Android backup (android:allowBackup="true"). If you enable backup on your device, Android may include App data—such as history, custom variables, and preferences—in encrypted backup or device-to-device transfer managed by Google or your device manufacturer.
That backup process is controlled by your device and Google account settings, not by our servers. We do not receive access to your backup data.
7. User-Initiated Export and Sharing
The App includes an optional Export history feature in Settings. When you use it, the App creates a JSON file and opens the Android share sheet so you can choose an destination (for example, email, messaging, or cloud storage).
We do not receive that export unless you send it to us directly. Any sharing after export is between you and the app or service you select.
8. Third-Party Services
The App does not embed third-party services that collect personal information for advertising or analytics.
Standard Android system components (for example, the share sheet or backup services you enable) may process data under their own policies when you choose to use them.
9. Data Retention and Deletion
You can delete calculation history and custom variables from Settings inside the App.
Uninstalling the App removes locally stored App data from your device, subject to how your device handles backups.
We do not retain copies on our servers because we do not operate a user database for this App.
10. Children’s Privacy
The App is a general-purpose calculator tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because we do not collect personal information through our own services, no child-specific data is transmitted to us.
11. Security
Data remains on your device under your device’s operating-system protections (screen lock, encryption, backup settings). No method of electronic storage is completely secure, but the App is designed to minimize exposure by avoiding network transmission and unnecessary permissions.
12. International Users
The App functions offline on your device. We do not transfer your App data to our servers regardless of where you live.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes may also be noted in App release notes. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
